SR1 Student Starts College at 16 – Powered by Robotics

August 28, 2025 – One of our own team members, Quinton Simpson, made headlines by starting college at age 16! Quinton, a standout on Team SCARLET, graduated high school early and is now studying Electro-Mechanical Engineering at Hinds Community College.

He credits the skills and confidence gained in SR1’s robotics and STEM programs for his head start. We are incredibly proud of Quinton’s achievements, which were featured on 16 WAPT News. His story shows how early STEM opportunities can launch students into successful futures. (This is the kind of success we strive for with every student!)
