May 2024 – Our team participated in a STEM Night at the Meridian Public Library, bringing along our competition robot and a few laptop coding stations. Over 50 children and their families came by our booth. Our students demonstrated the robot picking up objects and even let some brave volunteers drive it.
We also helped kids code simple animations on Scratch. By the end of the night, a dozen new students had signed up for our summer camp interest list! We love these events because they show families what’s possible in STEM and how to get involved. Keep an eye on our calendar for the next library or school visit.
